Bonjour Radio does not currently require an account or login. We store your learning progress (which words and phrases you've practiced, and how well you remembered them) so the app can personalize your daily episodes. This data isn't linked to your name or email — it's tied to your use of the app itself.
When you use a speaking-practice feature, your recording is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for transcription and analysis, and the result is returned to you. We do not store your voice recordings on our own servers afterward — they exist only transiently, for the purpose of generating that feedback.
Purchases are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly, under its own security and compliance standards.
OpenAI — processes voice recordings for transcription and feedback.
Supabase — stores your learning progress and app data.
Stripe — processes payments.
Vercel — hosts the application.
We use your browser's local storage to remember whether you've unlocked the full drama season, so you don't need to re-enter your passcode each visit. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we don't currently collect names or emails through the app itself, most stored data isn't personally identifying — but if you have any concern or request, contact us and we'll address it directly.
Bonjour Radio is not directed at children under 16.
